Burt from the Amazing Real Live Food Company chatted with Operation Frontline Kids Up front participants about making pro-biotic cheese. The kids later made stove top mac and cheese with chef Lori Powell and participated in a nutrition lesson about calcium and vitamin D by Kingston RD Ilyse Simon. This is just one of the 30 classes that the Queens Galley will be bringing to our community this season. Operation Frontline is a program of Share Our Strength brought to the Hudson Valley by the Queens Galley. This hands-on culinary nutrition education series helps children and adults to make healthier meals while on a limited budget. Eating better today, living better tomorrow with a goal of eliminating childhood hunger in America. Just one more way we're helping to feed the Hudson valley...one meal at a time!
